Department of Islamic Studies (DIS)

I welcome you all to the Department of Islamic Studies (DIS) of Manarat International University. From the beginning of the establishment of MIU in 2001, the Department of Islamic Studies was one of the approved departments by UGC, Bangladesh. DIS creates an excellent opportunity for students who want to empower themselves with Islamic knowledge. The department is committed to providing Islamic knowledge with modern facilities. DIS believes in quality education and services as well. The syllabus and curriculums of this department integrate conventional and Islamic knowledge using the modern tools of science and technology through the guidelines of the Qur’an and Sunnah; the main two sources of Islam. It gives quality education and moral values to create educated and moral human beings who can work at national and international levels. These all make this department unique in the context of present Bangladesh. We have highly qualified and skilled faculty members having foreign degrees and training. We believe that the department of Islamic Studies of MIU will be a role model for all other Islamic educational and research institutes. May Allah grant DIS success and place this department under the shade of His bounties (rahmat). Thus, it will be able to produce worthy graduates for the cause of Islam, Muslims and the mankind as well.
